Song: Happy Day

Talk #1: Prayer Shapes Us!

In this video, during the Bible reading you can use your lion mask. There are some links to masks above which you can download and print from the Internet. If the lion noise is a bit tame and unrealistic for you, try this one:

This includes an imaginary video interview with Daniel and a quiz from Scripture Union Scotland.

Song: Crown Him with Many Crowns

Talk #2: Prayer Saves!

Prayers led by Sally Jones

Here are some words for the Lord's Prayer, used at the end of Sally's video, if you're not sure which version to use:

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread
and forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

Praying for our Schools

During our Zoom time we will be praying for individual people from Penrallt who are going back to school, and then we will take communion together. Please join us at 11:30.

Song: Heal Our Nation

Communion

The Zoom communion referred to earlier in the service took place on the morning of 30th August. Here, instead, is a communion video:

After the Service

We are intending to hold a post-service chat on Zoom, as usual. This will continue after the Zoom prayer and communion. You are very welcome to join us — click on the button below to do so. We may break into smaller groups for a few minutes at some point.

Please note that participants will be muted on arrival in order not to disturb others during the prayers or communion if they are still taking place when you arrive.

This Evening / This Week

The Baptist Union of Great Britain are holding a short prayer broadcast every Sunday and Wednesday evening at 7pm. The link for this evening's broadcast (and recordings of previous ones) should be available at this page on the Baptists Together website.
